For our product we are using the finest high quality material sourced from Australia. Our shade clothes are Polyfx® , Comshade®, and Parasol® what are made from the highest quality virgin HDPE (High-density polyethylene) that blocks the heat from the Sun and combined with the latest UV stabilizers from BASF (is a European chemical company and the largest chemical producer in the world) which provides maximum people protection against strong ultraviolet rays.

What is HDPE ?

HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is a heavy-duty knitted mesh with a monofilament and yarn construction designed for use in shade structures, privacy screens, and shade sails. HDPE shadecloth is suited to projects where specifications require fabric exposed appropriate for environmental conditions including wind, rain, hail, dust and UV exposure. Woven HDPE shadecloth offers maximum Ultra Violet A&B protection.

Apart from the strength of the knitted construction, the porous material allows the sail to “breathe” preventing the air below from getting insufferably hot. This means air can circulate through the fabric to create a substantially cooler atmosphere below. With the heat from the sun above and the cooler temperature underneath, the air is automatically drawn through the material.

Polyfx ® can be used around beach entertainment and barbecue facilities, outdoor leisure and picnic areas. Other applications include playgrounds, preschools, secondary schools, camping grounds, hotels, motels and holiday resorts.

Shadesails made from Polyfx ® also offer a striking alternative to flat roof timber pergolas and can be designed to accentuate any location, whether it be a home, garden or commercial establishment.

PolyFX shade cloth is ideal for small to medium domestic shade sails and structures, and offers the end user maximum Ultra Violet Protection against the strong UV rays of the sun. The 16 contemporary colours combine with a 10 year warranty for a perfect shade cloth solution.

Polyfab products have been awarded the seal of approval by the Melanoma International Foundation. The seal is awarded to products that assist with community protection against Melanoma and promote safe sun behavior.

COMSHADE®

Comshade is a proven and trusted heavy duty knitted shade cloth designed for large tension shade structures and sails. Its exceptional strength to weight ratio makes Comshade, ideal for larger commercial projects, where the shade cloth fabric is exposed to the harsh environmental conditions of wind, rain, hail, dust and UV exposure.

PARASOL®

Weight: 325gsm

Parasol is a commercial grade knitted shade cloth suitable for tension structures and other heavy duty applications. It is manufactured using a combination of high density monofilament and tape which offers a high degree of protection from UV radiation, known to be the cause of sunburn and cancer. For ease of fabrication and improved performance, Parasol shade cloth has been ‘heat set’ before rolling, to improve lay flat characteristics and dimensional stability.
