How to create the perfect shade sail design

First step to designing a shade sail is to measure your space. Needs a tape and approximately measure the space
where you need the shade. After this you will have idea what shape your shade sail should be. The beauty of a
custom shade sail is that you can create almost any type of 3-dimensional figure your imagination desires.
( We will give you options and 3D pictures )

When designing your shade sail it`s important to consider the path of the sun, to determine the best place to
position your shade. Spend a day to observing how sunlight falls in the area you want to shade. This will also
help you determine how high to fix your shade sail.

Shade sails can be attached to large tree , pergola, fence post or wall. If enough fixing points are not
already available, posts may need to be installed. Ideally, you don’t want to create a flat sail.
Shade Sails perform better in wind events when a hypar shape is created.

When selecting colors, you’ll find out rather quickly that there is a lot to choose from.
( 18 different material colors ).

Lighter color fabrics show dirt more easily than darker colors, but don’t let this deter you from the lighter shades. All fabric will collect dirt in the end.

Light colors will give you slightly less UV protection than dark colored outdoor sail shades, but will let in more light. Dark colors give a better UV protection and let in less light.
( Some of the lighter colors are the most popular! )

If you install a shade that is less than 20m2 in size, less than 3m in height, and doesn’t extend beyond
your homes facade, then you should be able to install it without council approval.
