Our Warranty

In case of warranty, please contact us before removing the shade sail. We are very proud of the quality of the shade sail, and firmly believe that our shade sail will lasts for many years.

  • 12 years limited warranty on Shade net fabric against UV degradation. All shade sails are covered by a 2 year workmanship warranty. That includes the stitching and webbing.
  • 5 years limited warranty on waterproof fabric against UV degradation.
  • In order to comply with current legislation may need to be a licensed builder carrying out certain structural facilities, in which case the works are the responsibility of the authorized contractor.
  • Shade and sails may become dirty over time. Avoid chemicals, bleach, or decolorant detergent or other chemical substances. These chemicals may attack the UV stabilizers this reducing the life of the product and the warranty will cease. When cleaning the shade and sails, we recommend the use of a mild dish washing liquid with a soft scrubbing brush.
  • The sample book which has the actual fabric samples is the best way to make sure that your color selection is correct. Because shade sails are custom made, sails will not be replaced free of charge due to incorrect color selection at time of order.
  • Cyprus Shade and Sails claims no liability for damage sustained during “acts of nature” or other extreme weather events. Under our Engineers advice we recommend that, on the announcement of any destructive storm events in your region, the sails or shades be temporarily removed until the event is over.
  • All local permissions for the installation of a Cyprus Shade and Sails are the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • Cyprus Shade and Sails claims no liability for damage caused by fire, lightening, mechanical damage done by birds, other animals and any form of vandalism or misuse.
  • All goods remain the property of Cyprus Shade and Sails until payment is received in full. The warranty is valid from the date of full and final payment of the whole contract.
  • 50% deposit on confirmation of order before any work is undertaken.
  • The guarantee is void if any changes made or attachments added to the fabric, frame and mounting of the structure as per agreement with Cyprus Shade and Sails management. Cyprus Shade and Sails recommends annual maintenance of sails and or shades to ensure longevity and safety.
  • Customer is responsible for all installation plans, permits, engineering and/or installation related construction .
  • Warranty do not cover colour fading.
  • t is the customer responsibility to inform the installers of any water pipes , electric wires, air-condition pipes etc. that may be in the wall / floor prior to installation. We cannot accept responsibility for any damage occurred to such infrastructure during the installation process .
  • We recommend take down the shade sails from November until March.
